Anticorrosive polypropylene fiber tap is a new kind of pollution-free and nondestructive product . representing the top level of cold-wrapping tape both at home and abroad and called and c ¡ ± anticorrosion champion ¡ ± it can be widely used in such anticorrosive constructions as water supply , steel pipelines for conveying oil , natural gas and coal gas or underground tank outer anticorrosion or rehabilitation work in oil , natural gas , chemical engineering and municipal constructions it is the appointed product replacing asphalt glass cloth and epoxy coal tar by the National Construction Department and Environmental Protection General Bureau .The product is characterized by its easy construction , shock resistance, aging resistance elongation resistance , ultra-violet light resistance and high bond strength .
The basis material of the unique modified polypropylene knitted fabrics , adopting modified butyl rubber asphalt as anticorrosive rubber , its fabric structure can effectively resist the creep fracture due to the soil stress. Aging test shows that it can endure 50 years of corrosion , the index of which overpasses that of the SY/ T0414-98 standard .it is the best and the most economic choice .

3.Methods of application
Steel pipe surface treatment : rust removal removal , removing welding slag , burr , oil and keeping dry and clean , manual rust removal should reach St3 , mechanical St2 , meeting the request of SYH4007-86.
Primer coating: adopting customized mating priming paint .keep away from fire .Spreading equably no matter brushing , rolling or spraying .priming paint dosage for manual work 12/ L , mechanical construction 20/ L.
When surface dry ( in 5-10minutes ) , wrapping can be done .
After the quality inspection is done .the pipes can be put put back into the ditch and be buried .
4.Transportation and Storage
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight , drench , crushing and distortion when tapes are transported .
Construction can be carried out after 48hours storage around 20¡ æ if the tapes are stored or transported below 5¡ æ .
Store where it is cool ( 5-30¡ æ ) , humidity below 75% .Shelf life : 12months .Away from heat and open flame .
