I. Purpose and Features:

¡¡¡¡PE anticorrosive tapes are mainly used in underground anticorrosive pipelines in oil and natural gas transportation, chemical engineering and municipal constructions. It is characterized by its easy construction and pollution-free. It's one of the best anticorrosive materials.
¡¡¡¡ Adopting the initial solventliss heat-pressing complex techniques, the company developed the high-performance PE anticorrosive tape and its matching technology. The bond line being butyl rubber results in the effect of excellent ageing resistance, tightness and insulation. The performanceindexes of all the products reach the standards of Sinopec SY/T0414-98,the US ANSI/AWWAC209-00 and NACEMR0274-95,taking lead in the same trade both at home and abroad.Compared with the products made with the traditional solvent coating method ,the products have the following features:
1. The bond line has uniform thickness and a good adhesive sealing performance.
2. The base and the bond line are strongly bonded, avoiding the adhesive failure in storage and construction.
3. It has an excellent resistance to heat ageing and ultra-violet.
4. The high tensile strength and proper elongation at break make it easy to wrap mechanically or manually.
5. Varied types, specifications, colors of anticorrosive inner tapes, protective outer tapes, coating tapes, anticorrosive priming paint and construction tools can be provided.

III. Methods of application:

(1) Rust removal, removing welding slag, burr, oil and filth and keeping dry and clean. Manual rust removal should reach St3, mechanical St2, meeting the request of SYJ4007-86.
(2) Primer coating (Manual or mechanical)
(3) When surface dry, wrapping can be done in accordance with anticorrosive grades and structure requirement.
(4) After the electric spark inspection is done, the pipes can be put back into the ditch and be buried.
IV. Transportation and Storage:
(1) Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, drench, crushing and distortion when tapes are transported.
(2) Construction can be carried out after 48 hours storage around 20 ¡æ if the tapes are stored or transported below 5 ¡æ .
(3) Store where it is cool (5-30 ¡æ ), humidity below 75%. Shelf life: 12 months. Away from heat and open flame.
